A bit of Eclipse goodness...

As the big day rapidly approaches, I find myself getting back in to the Twi-mood, reading all the blogs, updates and eagerly awaiting any little tidbit I can get my hands on.
Today I was rewarded with some awesome pictures and movie stills and just had to share them with any of you who may not have seen them yet.

So here goes... Victoria...
... still not convinced about the wisdom of replacing Rachell with Bryce. She just doesnt look mean enough. Rachelle has that beautiful feline quality and was exactly how I pictured Victoria in the books. Bad move Summit, bad, bad move!

Riley...
... ummm, awesome! He looks amazing with his red eyes and gorgeous looks. Can't wait to see Xavier in action!

Rosalie....
.. the hair????? What is going on? Yuck, don't like it at all!

Seth...
... what a little cutie! Looking forward to seeing this character come to life in Eclipse, but most especially in Breaking Dawn.

Leah...
... pictured her with longer hair, but another character I am looking forward to seeing. Love seeing the tatt on a girl!!!
Jane...
... aaah, Jane. Would love to see a movie just on the Volturi, love them all!!!

Jasper???...
... is that really you under that hideous wig??????????????????????
Oh dear, what were the hair stylists thinking? Seriously??? Is it a competition to see if they can make his wig worse in every movie?

Jacob...
... Courtz, these pics are for you!

Esmee,
beautiful as ever. I adore Elizabeth Reaser!

Emmett...
... hmmm, a little bit Spock... until you see that chest! Wow!!

Emily...
... thought the scar was okay, but didn't pull her eye and lip down as described in the book. Great character though!

No explanation needed!...
... glad he is out of that God awful Tweed jacket and back in to civvies...

Another bad hair day Carlisle!
Bring back the Twilight hair!!!!

Bree...
... can't wait for the book!

and for your viewing pleasure...

and a few movie stills...
Story telling around the campfire on a clifftop?

Confrontation??

Not sure what this scene is from? The fight maybe, but I thought it was snowing then. Maybe the first meeting with the wolves where they are fight training?

And, of course. The obligatory, meadow scene!

I am very much looking forward to the Twi a thon. This is just a viewing of all three movies over roughly 8 hours, with the conclusion being Eclipse at midnight. Unfortunately it falls on Madisons birthday, but she is very understanding!!
I am tossing up whether to pre-order the Eclipse Movie Companion. Delivery takes forever with Amazon and it is usually in the book stores fairly quickly here. I hope that the soundtrack is released at the same time as the movie too.

Until next time....

A Wild afternoon in Perth... and Remember Me!

This was the scene over Perth yesterday afternoon. As I had been busy I had not heard the severe weather warnings, so was totally unprepared for this doozy of a thunder storm.
The kids, hubby and I watched in fascination as these amazing clouds in every shade of grey, rolled across the skies like waves on a beach. They twisted and turned and rolled along and then seemed to go right over and away.
Not 10 minutes later, day turned to night and it was at that point I had to leave home to take Maddi to skating. No sooner had we hit the road than the first drops of rain started to fall. I was still unconcerned as we have had no rain in months and i didn't expect more than a few drops! Next thing I knew the rain was falling in sheets across cars and road driven by gusty winds. Thunder roared and lightning lit the sky every few seconds. After several minutes of desperately peering through the windscreen I admitted defeat and pulled over.

My windscreen was fogged and the rain had obliterated all view of the road. Puddles stretched across the roads and trying to drive any further was ridiculous.
Maddi and I waited about 5 minutes and the rain eased enough to head off again. It was all so surreal and I have never experienced anything quite like it.
Later I heard that we had significant hail damage in several areas and unfortunately my Dads car caught the brunt of this. His bonnet, roof and all down the passenger side is now covered in golf ball size dents.
My daughter Jessica had a roof collapse in her back room, but I think myself very fortunate that all my loved ones are safe and well.
On a lighter note, earlier in the day, Mum, Samara and myself went to see Remember Me. I loved it! What a beautiful, sad story. All the actors played their roles magnificently and I clearly remember how my heart stopped when I saw the date written on the chalk board.
Well, off to get some work done. I hope all in Perth and Queensland are safe after the storm and cyclone. It has been a bizarre time with ole Mother Nature...
Keep safe.

Eclipse movie trailer

Ok, now I am starting to get excited! It has been so very quiet and with my busy schedule, I haven't had as much Twilight time as usual. But now, with the release of the Eclipse trailer and the soon to be released New Moon DVD, I am excited again! Just realised today that Eclipse will be released in the US on my babys 9th birthday! A double celebration!!!

New Moon - I have seen it!!!!

Wow! What else can I say??? Wednesday night at 11pm my daughters Samara and Courtney and myself headed off to our midnight viewing of New Moon. The cinemas were buzzing, there were Twilight T-Shirts galore and lots and lots of excited people, eager for the next installment of the Twilight saga...

Now, I won't say too much as there are many out there who haven't been able to see the movie yet and I don't want to give anything away. But I will comment on a few things!

1. I was very impressed with the quality of the film. The bigger budget has allowed a more polished look to the movie with some awesome special fx.

2. I felt the perfomance of all the actors was more believable than in Twilight. Maybe it was that they were more comfortable in their roles, or that they knew they had such a huge fan base with such high expectations. Whatever the reason, I felt that the personalities of the characters was more noticeable.

3. I loved how true to the book this movie was and that the parts that differed from the book, worked well in to the story. Obviously it is impossible to work all parts of the book in to the movie.

4. I LOVED VICTORIA!!! Her stunts were awesome, I am sooooo sad that she is not to be in Eclipse. To me, this IS Victoria, and in her Eclipse the focus is on her alot more. That has certainly tarnished Eclipse for me and I am not looking forward to the movie quite as much as I would have been.

5. I loved all the stunts, special fx, fight scenes etc... It seemed to have the right mix of action, romance and humour to allow the movie to appeal to a wide range of people. There were plenty of guys at the screening!!

6. The Volturi were spectacular! Dakota Fanning did a fantastic job as Jane! The scenery in Italy was magnificent and I am SOOO glad that it was filmed there. Made the scenes so very authentic!

I am off to see New Moon again tomorrow night and am just as excited as the first time I saw it. I had been questioning my sanity, going to a midnight screening after flying in from Queensland at midnight the night before! But I am so glad I did it and would do it again and again! Yesterday was a little difficult as I was SOOO tired, but had a good nights sleep last night and am rearing to go again.

Hoping to post some all new stuff on etsy in the next few days, so be sure to check it out. I am really happy with how the new stuff has turned out!

ummmmm....

A little bit more of a teaser!
I have just finished reading New Moon in prep for midnight viewing!!! So excited. I have the soundtrack, thankyou soooo much Jo! I absolutely love it! Very mellow. I also have just bought the Twilight journals in the collectors tin, these are just gorgeous and I need to have a really good look through them! And last, but not least, I have the New Moon movie companion, which has some fantastic pictures in it. Only bought it yesterday and have just flicked through, but so far so good!
We arrive back from our Gold Coast holiday at about midnight on Tuesday 17th and then go to the midnight session of New Moon on Wednesday 18th! I am going to be so buggered for the rest of that week! But so worth it!
My girlfriend Jo is running a fundraising event of a movie session to New Moon on Saturday 21st November at the 7:30pm session. There will be loads of giveaways and games and it will be loads of fun. If you are interested in going to this fund raiser, just let me know and I will put you in contact with Jo.

So very cool!

Eclipse - The Movie

Just when you thought you couldn't stand waiting any longer until New Moon, we are being twice tempted by the beginning of production for Eclipse!! And by the sounds of some new actors being cast in certain roles, there are alot of crucial scenes that will be included in the movie. **WARNING** If you have not read Eclipse, please do not read any further as there may be spoilers!!

I just loved this fanmade poster so much, I had to include it again. There are some incredibly talented people out there. (note to self - get photoshop!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

And so, without further ado....
The cast of ECLIPSE (some not yet confirmed!)

Bella Swan played by Kristen Stewart. How gorgeous does she look in this pic from the New Moon calendar?

And the gorgeous Edward Cullen played by Robert Pattinson. Do I need to say any more?

Jacob Black (werewolf) played by Taylor Lautner. Really looking forward to the whole love triangle saga in Eclipse! In real life, what girl would ever find herself in the situation of having to such hot guys fighting for her affection???

The Wolf pack, of course there will be many more characters added to this wolf pack in Eclipse!

Dr Carlise Cullen and Esme Cullen played by Peter Facinelli and Elizabeth Reaser. It is going to be awesome to see Esme kicking A in Eclipse!

Jasper and Alice played by Jackson Rathbone and Ashley Greene. I can't wait to see how they portray the stories of these two characters, we will get to see how Jackson was 'made' and how these two met! It will be great to see Jaspers character developed more.

Emmett and Rosalie played by Kellan Lutz and Nikki Reed. We will also see Rosalies background... can't wait to see if they show her taking her revenge!

Jack Huston to play Royce King II, (aka Rosalies fiance before she was created as a vampire), this is one story line I can't wait to see played out. I am so glad they have decided to include this part of Eclipse!

Catalina Sandino Moreno to play Maria, the vampire from Jaspers past... another scene I am looking foward to!!!

Bryce Dallas Howard to play Victoria and Aussie boy Xavier Samuel to play Riley. I must just add here that I am extremely disappointed that Rachelle La Ferve is not playing Victoria, especially as Eclipse is the pinnacle of her Victorias story. To me, Rachelle WAS Victoria and I don't know how I will relate to someone else playing the character.
We will miss you Rachelle!

Jodelle Ferland to play Bree!
This is the casting description of this character
Bree: 14-17, beautiful, 5′1″ – 5′3″, short dark hair, fair skin. Has a high pitched shrill scream. She is one of the newborn army who ravaged Seattle, killing many with her fellows under the guise of a serial killer.

So, obviously there are many characters I have not yet included, but I am so excited and looking forward to all the teasers and rumours that have become such a part of the Twilight Saga adventure!
I have been thinking about some of my favourite scenes from Eclipse and here are just a few.
- When Bella punches Jacob in the face and the scenes that follow!
- The scene in the tent when Bella thinks she is asleep and Jacob and Edward talk about her.
- The vampire fights and also the training sessions.
There are so many scenes that I love from this book! I have started to read it AGAIN!!!! I have such high expectations for the movie!!!
Okay, time to get some jewelry made! Have an amazing week everyone!
Later,
xxJoxx
